The second of my blogs on AD, and this is a little less up beat than last week. Achilles has got worse and my team pulled out of the 12 stage. A sad thing for the club, but aa good thing that my achilles didnt get dragged round the sutton park course. I went to watch as working at the sheffield half the next day, found watching really hard, especially knowing achilles is getting worse. Scheduled for an epidural wednesday as a last hope of having a summer season, as last one gave me 3 months of pain free running. I have though been given amazing backing from pure sport in London, who have agreed to look after and get me back running. I am scheduled in to see Dr Hakan Alfredson the best achilles surgen in the world. Before that though which would see my summer gone, i have roll the dice of the 'magic' injection one more time, just so i can live with the surgry being the last resort.

hi alan
yep i hve had two sets of injection treaments by doctor chan through dr nat padhiar. That was last summer and october and it did work, but alot of my problems since have been caused by having the issu for so long. The last epidural worked and thats why i tried number two. But if this fails then the surgry is the next step, which sounds bad but its a new procedure and your back runni9ng in three weeks. Its what the likes of geb have had and alot of football players. Im two days back into running and yesterday ran 30mins pain free so fingers crossed.
