Another double session today - 7 miles in the afternoon followed by 7 this evening - the daytime were all sub 7 mins but tonights were a tad slower. Think I'll have an easier day tomorrow as I'm racing the Sefton Park 5 miler on Wednesday. I didn't do too well here in 2009, my only 5 mile over 30 mins. Last year I was on crutches but hobbled up to cheer on the PLS lads and lasses who braved a thunder storm and monsoon conditions on the night.

The knee still feels a tad funny, hopefully it wasn't the adidas aegis that caused the problem as I want to race in them Wednesday. Should be a good turn out for PLS as usual, I noticed a few of the Warrington lads, Danny Cliffe and Ste Broadhurst finished 1st and 2nd at Burtonwood on Saturday had jumped ship to the Liverpool Harriers, great for the Harriers if the have as they're top draw kids. Be interesting to see if they turn up on Wednesday, not that I'll be troubling them ;o)
