As a younger athlete I was fortunate to throw the javelin for England Schools, Scotland and the RAF. A shoulder injury hindered and 'life' (work, family) took priority for quite a few years...!

More recently as a Vet, I did 2 Decathlons to raise funds for charity. The last one in 2014 was when I ruptured my anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in my right knee. Had reconstruction surgery in May 2015 before working hard with physio, and in the gym to get back to being stronger than before.
